That and... Santa?! 
What an evil thing... dressing Andross with Santa's colours... even though Santa's were originally green, I think.
x) Definitely I drew this under the great influence of Planet of the Apes [which I have, unfortunately, never seen except for a few parts, btw]. It's because I love their character designs.
And I like ape faces, just like humans, they can be very expressive.

Seeing that Corneria finally hired mercenaries that were worthy of his sweat, Andross decided he could too, hire a few good mercenaries who could rival this new menace to his empire.
Funnily enough, the leader of this new "Starfox" seemed to be after his very bones.
